I made this little jig to practice tying knots. It works pretty good. I made sure to angle them out so that if I want, I can bring the knot up in order to tighten it.

Each Dowel is 5/8″ in diameter and it goes in to the 2×4″ board that I cut that’s about 20″ long.

I find that I use it quite often. I was thinking about making another one so that I can have 2 on hand. I was going to attempt to weave a Net, like the one that runs across the Renown’s Quarterdeck on the Horatio Hornblower Series, Ep Mutiny.
