I attached the Gaff to the Mizzen Mast using some Brass Beads as Parrels.

I used both Black and Brass Beads just for kicks… I doubt it’s historically accurate but it doesn’t look too bad…

Then I used the lifting blocks for the first stage of connecting to Mast. This is called Throat Halliard.

This portion of the Rigging of the Gaff is called Peak Halliard.
