I tried a couple of ways to make these Fairleads… Right now I’m trying to stack a bunch of small pieces…
Attaching small pieces together
A fairlead is a device to guide a line, rope or cable around an object, out of the way or to stop it from moving laterally. Typically a fairlead will be a ring or hook.

Okay… I think I figured it out…
Rough make of Fairlead
I cut 2 5mm pieces of 6mm Dowel and sandwiched in between 2 5mm x 1.5mm Basswood planks.
Those Leaves will go on the Stern portion of the Gallery.
The other is the Decorations around the Windows out of the Gallery on the sides of the ship.
Here I’m using the Gold Leaf Paint. I doubt that Captain Cook ever had the Endeavor this decorated, but I like the look of it. Hopefully it will distract from the White Window Panes, which I’m not that big of a fan of but I decided to keep it like that… 🤔🙄

I’m just going to have to live with the gap between the Decorative Window Pane and the Bulwarks… It’s made of this really fragile Pewter material that is easily broken. To my chagrin, I broke one of the Monks carrying Grapes as I was trying to take off some Grapes from the bottom in order to make it fit. I was able to repair it with Contact Cement and Superglue…
