I made this Stand probably 10 years ago. It has gotten me through 3 builds.
All it is a piece of Fence Post with some 1.5″x1.5″ attached to it. Then I simply taped some Paper Towel around the ends. .. 🤔🙄ðŸ¤

I am going to clear out the Kitchen in a bit when I receive the Shelves from Amazon. Of course, that’s not to say that it won’t get filled up again!!!… 😲🤣ðŸ¤
I had to make some different Jigs that were shorter than the ones I made before.
I put 2 Deadeyes on different sides of this Board.
I bought a pair of these Embroidery Scissors in Straight Blades and I liked them so much that I bought another pair in Curved Blades. They are ideal for cutting the Rigging strings. Very sharp and accurate.
I made this Line Faking Tool by sticking a couple of pins in this piece of wood.
I then tie a Midshipman’s Knot on one end and slip it down one of the Pins and then carefully coil the line around the 2 pins.
After I get the line coiled, I dab some Transparent Wood Glue on it and let it get hard. After which I lift it off with a Flat Xacto Blade.
I bought this Rigging Hook from Micro-Mark. It came in a Set that included some other hooks that I’ve never used. This one is handy though…
It allows you hook String as you’re trying to Rig.
I also find that this in combination with Tweezers is very helpful.
I found out quite by mistake that these Cuticle Cutters are ideal for cutting the Strings on the Rigging. They work especially well for the little string ends that I’ve “fixed” with Superglue.
I bought these Parallel Jaw Pliers a while ago and really haven’t had to use it up until now.
These things work great for holding a Block while you still into it.
These Pliers hold like nothing else. Also they don’t let go easily… So you end up losing your Part like with ordinary Needle Nose Pliers.
I just made this Spacer that you put between your Deadeyes so that they come out at the same distance on the Shrouds above the Deadeye on the Channels.
Anyway, it works out to being 20mm apart… So I gave it 21mm to give it some wiggle room and stretching space…
It’s made out of a Popsicle Stick.
The idea is to slip the pins on the bottom into the Deadeye and slide the one from the Shrouds on to the top one. Then take down the slack on the Shrouds and serve the end.
Just got my new Round Nose Plier in the mail that I bought from Amazon.
This one goes down to 1mm.

This one is way better!!!
These are essentially for making the circular Wire Twists like on Deadeyes, etc.
